Dusciana Bravura is an Italian artist who was born in Venice in 1969. She graduated from the Institute of mosaic art in Ravenna. Delicate gradations of light and shadow that looks something geometric and certain, the curvilinear and abstract inevitably attract the eye. Best of all Dusciana managed to use the ancient mosaic technique in the modern context, giving life to an imaginary universe populated with mirrors and animals.Mosaic in her work receives a new, modern interpretation of the theme of nature described in the form of a fairy tale. Dusciana’s work reminiscent of ancient Islamic arabesque ornaments, so her works are so charming and nostalgic.
